Project details

Beneficiary: Children with Down's syndrome

Donor: General public

Objective: Rise public awareness to reduce stigma and avoid discrimination

Intention: Let the public experience the difficulties of people with Down’s syndrome to control their muscle (slow learning process). Emphasize the similarity shared among those children with the general public.

The children who live in DOWN’s Town born with Down’s syndrome but love drawing very much. They never grow up and they learn with much difficulty. However, like the new born babies, despite the poorer body condition and harder learning barrier, their simple and straight forwards minds enable them to neglect every difficulty and insist in what they love. Through experiencing their hardship in learning, we hope that people can understand that we all have experienced the same state when we were just a little kid and that we are more alike than different.
